Casa SB

The project involves the restoration of a building constructed in the 1990s in the Modena countryside, preserving its typological features and structural footprint.

The interior has been completely reorganized to create spacious and functional areas, while the exterior envelope and systems technologies have been upgraded to make the building environmentally and energetically sustainable.

Special attention has been given to the relationship with the surrounding landscape: openings are strategically placed to ensure that every room enjoys a view of the greenery.

A system of brise-soleil provides summer shading and defines the design of the façades.
