Light and colour form the basis of the design for spaces in this domestic setting. Generous use of plate glass suffuses inhabited areas with natural light, leaving the more sombre areas to service facilities. Wood flooring creates continuity of surfaces, creating a sense of warmth both for the eye and to the touch. Small recessed zones reveal and conceal services and bookshelves, acting as partitioning between the reception/living area and the apartment’s more private rooms.
